What our students say “

Stephanie helped my fiancĂ©e and me get ready for our wedding dance. She has a great personality, knows what she’s doing, and helped us actually dance rather than just swaying in place for our first dance as a married couple. I highly recommend her.Josh M.
I only wish I had done this sooner. These people are wonderful. They are extremely knowledgable and professional, and fun all at the same time.

We had an excellent experience working with an instructor, Beth. She was amazing. We took lessons for our wedding and they worked perfectly!

We had a great time and had nothing but friendly faces and smiles. I would def do it again.Christine K.

Great people. Huge smile on my face the WHOLE TIME I’m there. Exercise. Creativity. Friendship. Laughter.Reid B.
The premier dance studio. In the tri-state area! Great instructors and excellent staff!Mark O.
My new husband and I took dance lessons for 7 months before our wedding. Our instructor Stephanie helped make our first dance AMAZING! We have gotten so many compliments on it and we made a whole room of people cry. Not only did she make our first dance amazing, but she taught us some basic dance moves for different dances and we were able to tear up the dance floor at our wedding and our mini moon! We are so happy with this studio and encourage anyone who is getting married to start taking dance lessons here immediately to get the best dance on for you wedding. Thank you!!!Geena R.
I walked through the doors of AOSD three years ago and my life changed on sooooo many levels. Three-left feet was my own ‘dance’ image….. until I took a risk and decided to grow beyond who I was and what I knew.

WOW! I remember those first few classes when I tripped over my own feet and the instructor’s as well. With patience, support, guidance, and laughter from the entire team, my determination and focus to ‘Go for it!’

And to my surprise and on going personal challenge….competitions!

Whether for social dancing, music appreciation, exercise, or personal benefits, dancing is fun. At AOSD it is a blast! Marilyn P.

We improved greatly! Both of us could dance, but nothing formal. Stephanie guided us through learning the Foxtrot during weekly sessions that in the end made us look like we knew what we were doing during our first dance. Whew!! Heidi S.
I started dancing at the Academy a little over a year ago. At first, it was somewhat intimidating as many of the students have been taking lessons at the studio for 20-some years and regularly win at Pro/Am competitions. But after I got up the courage to go to my first Thursday night party, I realized that it was actually a very welcoming, family-like environment–lots of laughter. The more experienced students have always been willing to help new students, whether it is showing them a dance step, or cheering them on in their first performance.

The level of instruction is top notch.

The growth I have seen in my dancing abilities over the past year is far beyond what I could have imagined. My private lessons with my instructor allow me to really focus on areas where I need to improve and learn new things. The group lessons are a great opportunity to learn from a different instructor and gain a new perspective on steps I have already learned, as well as great practice dancing with other students. On top of all of this, the studio regularly brings in some of the top ballroom dancing coaches, giving us the opportunity to gain knowledge from an additional expert opinion.

Ballroom dancing is by no means an inexpensive hobby, so if you are going to spend the money on it, you might as well do so with the best teachers in the industry. Ivy K.
